The current shelter system crisis is impacting refugee claimants and migrants in Toronto.
Many of them are sleeping on the streets.

We need your help to help them.

The FCJ Refugee Centre depends on donations, financial and in-kind, to continue the work of protecting uprooted people.

There are many ways you can help us:

  • Volunteer. Please see details and how to apply here.
  • Donate household goods, small gifts for Christmas, bed linens – drop off at the office (208 Oakwood Ave.).
  • Sponsor a room, a program, a party: contact us.
  • Donate money: see below.

Here are some ways how you can donate money to the FCJ Refugee Centre:

1. Become a monthly donor here, and walk side by side with uprooted people.

2. Write a cheque payable to:
FCJ Refugee Centre
and send it to:
FCJ Refugee Centre, 208 Oakwood Ave., Toronto, ON M6E 2V4.

3. E-transfer your donation to:
finance@fcjrefugeecentre.org.

4. Donate online through Canada Helps using the form below (you can also choose a fund for your donation).

5. Become a Member of the FCJ Refugee Centre by selecting “Membership Fees” in the “Fund” section of the form below, and paying the membership fee ($10.00).

Folks Dropping Off Donations

Due to space our capacity for accepting donations are limited. We have created a guidelines for our kind donators to follow in hopes to maintain effective use of your previously owned items.

What We DO NEED:

  • All types of clothing- Men, women, children, baby
  • Household Linen’s- Bed sheets, towels, pillows etc.
  • Kitchenware- Pots, Pans, Utensils, etc.
  • Unopened Toiletry’s- Shampoo, Lotion, Toothpaste, etc.

What We DO NOT NEED:

  • Electronics, Toys, Books, DVD’s

If you have an item that has not been listed above, please feel free to ask our receptionist or call the office at 416-469-9754, ext.228 in order to determine whether or not it is needed.
