A forum to address the concerns around the efficiency of collaboration in the Anti-Human Trafficking sector through the perspectives of justice and law enforcement, front-line workers and survivors.
Join this opportunity to discuss and actively strategize in supporting victims, survivors and their families, while emphasizing the included voices of those with lived experiences.
Guest speakers include:
James Brown
Following his 35 years in policing, James Brown is now Adjunct Professor of Criminology at Ontario Tech University where he lectures on human trafficking in the advanced justice program, and also serves as Executive Director of the Canadian charity, the Global Resource Epicenter Against human Trafficking (GREAT).
Susan Orlando (MAG)
Susan has been the Provincial Coordinator of Ontario’s Human Trafficking Prosecution Team since 2017. Prior to this role, she was the Deputy Director in the Office of the Assistant Deputy Attorney General – Criminal Law Division, Ministry of the Attorney General.
