Celebrate the arrival of spring and unleash your creativity by joining us in our decoupage wellness workshop!

Facilitated by community artist Carolina Gajardo, this session invites migrant women to come together in a safe and supportive space, to create art for healing, empowerment, and self-expression.

Discover the power and the beauty of decoupage, the art of decorating an object by gluing colored paper cutouts onto it, in combination with special paint effects, gold leaf, and other decorative elements.

• When: Thursday, April 16, 2026, 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm
• Where: FCJ Refugee Centre (208 Oakwood Avenue, M6E 2V4)
• Language: English with simultaneous Spanish interpretation
• Materials: All provided
• Experience: No previous art experience needed — just come as you are!

Taller: Decoupage de primavera

¡Celebra la llegada de la primavera y da rienda suelta a tu creatividad participando en nuestro taller de decoupage para el bienestar!

Impartido por la artista comunitaria Carolina Gajardo, este taller invita a mujeres migrantes a reunirse en un espacio seguro y de apoyo para crear arte que les permita sanar, empoderarse y expresarse.

Descubre el poder y la belleza del decoupage, el arte de decorar objetos pegando recortes de papel de colores, combinados con efectos especiales de pintura, pan de oro y otros elementos decorativos.
