A Roadmap to Justice
Launched in April 2023 as a collaborative project by the FCJ Refugee Centre and the Centre for Refugee Children, A Roadmap to Justice is a youth-led initiative dedicated to improving the immigration and settlement system for unaccompanied and separated children (UASC) and youth in Ontario. Our goal is to drive systemic and policy changes for a more inclusive and supportive future.
Our Goal
To ensure UASC in Ontario have timely access to:
✔️ Qualified mentorship
✔️ Critical information
✔️ Individualized support throughout their immigration and settlement process
Our Two-Year Progress
- Collected data from minors and youth
- Conducted focus groups with minors & youth-serving organizations
- Completed data analysis and reporting
- Developed the Theory of Change
- Created the Action Implementation Plan
- Now seeking collaborators to help implement these changes!
Stay Tuned!
The finalized Theory of Change and Action Implementation Plan will be available in March 2025.
