Under the Safe Third Country Agreement (STCA), Canada turns away most people seeking safety at our borders and sends them to the United States, where many have been detained by ICE under horrific conditions, separated from their families, and deported back to the very countries they were seeking refuge from.

Amnesty International has joined together with families who have been impacted by the STCA, the Canadian Council for Refugees and the Canadian Council of Churches to fight this. The hearing is taking place at the Federal Court in Toronto on November 9th, 10th, 12th and December 16th.

You can help build support for refugee rights and make sure our message is heard by joining a rally outside of the Federal Court:
