Webinar | Pathways to Permanent Residence: Caregivers and Construction Workers (English and Spanish)

Canada relies on home care workers to provide essential support to individuals in need, including seniors and people with disabilities. Recognizing the growing demand for skilled caregivers and the challenges they face in securing stable immigration pathways, the Government of Canada has introduced the Home Care Worker Immigration Pilots. These pilot programs are designed to attract and retain qualified home care workers by offering streamlined pathways to permanent residence. In this presentation we talk about the eligibility criteria for this program, supporting documents needed, forms, etc.

On the other hand, since February 26, 2025, a new public policy in Canada has allowed apprentices in certain construction trades to study without a study permit if their training is part of their apprenticeship program. To address significant labor shortages affecting infrastructure projects, the Government of Canada has introduced this temporary public policy, enabling certain construction apprentices to complete their required training without needing a separate study permit. In this presentation you will learn who can apply and how to prove eligibility.
