Webinar | Employment 104: How to apply for jobs through the Government of Canada’s Job Bank

During this session, our facilitator Maria Karimi provides a step-by-step guide on how to create a profile, search for jobs and apply for jobs through the Government of Canada’s Job Bank.

In doing so, Maria looks for jobs with employers who already have an LMIA – Labour Market Impact Assessment. An LMIA is the document that an employer in Canada may need to get before hiring a foreign worker. If the employer needs an LMIA, they must apply for one. Once the employer gets the LMIA, the foreign worker can apply for a closed work permit. (More information here).
